It would be an honor to have you as my featured guest.
“So, what happens on your show / podcast?”
Some great positive conversation and stories to go with the music. I do my best to make the show an art form just as any musical artist would to his or her project. Each episode of my series is recorded and produced entirely by myself. This is not meant as a brag, but rather an attempt to inform you that I approach this unique craft with a great deal of love and care. So, how do I explain the show to one who hasn’t heard it before? Let me share a couple of sentences I wrote to a guest who wanted to know what StrongWriter is all about. They are taken out of context, but it will enlighten you as to the philosophy of my show.
I am a songwriter and a music lover, so I enjoy talking with guests who are of the same niche. If he or she is not a songwriter, that is okay. I have interviewed and featured singers, producers and actors…some are well known, others the audience will get to know. Any genre is fine with me as long as my guest (preferably a musical artist) has an encouraging message to share. I’m looking for inspiring stories and advice for other music creators and songwriters. My most typical theme is “don’t give up / here’s how I stay positive and focused.” [My latest interviewee] was a great guest when it came to this criteria. My goal is to present to my audience an evergreen conversation that will sound interesting years from today. Promoting a project is not required, per se, but I will always gear the show to feature his or her latest album. I will always do my best for them.
My schedule is limited, as I have jobs in the morning. Usually, I will record my interviews Monday thru Friday at 2:00 pm (PT), and conversations last about 45 minutes to 1 hour. As soon as the show has been fully edited and produced, it will debut in the podcast, and a page will be created for sharing.
I can be flexible with this schedule if it is necessary. Just let me know.
