Today's episode features the very enjoyable afternoon I spent with MATT EASTON, a creative musician and songwriter who is the main face and voice of the Berkeley, California band called THE JENNY THING. I particularly enjoyed the group's latest album called "American Canyon" and shared my thoughts with Matt as I played selected tracks for this episode. Matt has a lot of interesting and imaginative ideas in his head, but we only had a short time to chat, so we talked about our love of alternative rock music, especially the dark and new wave genres born out of the 1980's. That musical style is passionately displayed on their new record, so Matt and I dug deep into a number of tracks to get a closer experience. I think you are really going to enjoy the epic music video created for the album's title track. It's very cool stuff.
