You’ll hear about some of her mentors and role models, her family life, and how she came to write “My Proud Soldier,” a song that has been growing in popularity.
Another visit is in the planning, due to the technical issues during this one. There was a glitch in the sound system, but what Toni shared with me was worth sharing with you, in spite of the background noise. Our next visit will focus on songwriting and behind the scenes talk, and she told me that she all too happy to oblige. Oh, and she has recently played at the Bluebird!! Gotta ask her how that was.
I always feel blessed to make another friend, and as I’ve said before, you can never have too many! The lady behind the music is just as lovely as the music she creates.
